Shipping Policy

All in-stock items typically ship within 1-3 business days and should arrive within 3 to 5 business days from the ship date. We ship via USPS.

If the product you have ordered is out of stock or on backorder we will contact you with an estimated shipment date of the backordered item. Occasionally issues may arise that lead to an unexpected backorder situation and we will alert you as soon as we are made aware that this issue exists.

Please note The Midwest Girl® cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages. 


We get it…you try something on thinking you look halfway decent until you get it home and realize it’s not good! All unworn/non-sale merchandise can be returned for full refund or exchange within 14 days of purchase. Receipt must be present. Online returns must be received by The Midwest Girl® within 14 days of day of delivery. Customer is responsible for return shipping. Returns received after 14 days are only valid for size exchange. Receipt or order number must be present in package! Refunds (less shipping charge) will be processed once a week. You will receive an email notification. 

For online exchanges: We encourage you to order your new size ASAP.  As soon as we receive your return back in our store, we will refund your order. This ensures your size will not be sold out by the time we receive your return. Customer is responsible for both shipping charges. 

All SALES are FINAL on mugs, hats, necklaces, socks and sale merchandise. NO RETURNS or EXCHANGES on donated or contest merchandise.

Returns cannot be made at The Midwest Girl® if item is purchased at one of our retailers. Please see store of purchase for return/exchange policy. 


What is sizing like?

Unless noted different, all our tees are unisex. They are soft, cozy, and meant to be a comfortable fit. Not too tight, not too big. If you like your tees a bit snugger, size down! If you want your tee to be a true tee shirt fit, order your normal size! Marah and I always wear a size small! We are always here to help with sizing via email, text, or phone call!


What if there is a quality issue past the 14 day return window?

We want your new merchandise to be your “go to”.  Our tee shirts should not fall apart after a few washes, but things can happen! If you are unhappy with a recent purchase, PLEASE reach out to us via email. We would be so much happier to fix a problem rather than you never wanting to purchase another MWG tee!

Do you offer in store pick up?

Absolutely! This is great if a new item is released and you are worried about not making it to the shop before they sell out! If you shop online, you can easily select standard shipping, Mount Horeb pick up or Dubuque in store pick up. Your item then will be pulled and prepared for shipment or bagged and ready for pick up during our business hours!

*Mount Horeb pick up is always Thursdays, unless you get a notification stating otherwise*


If my size is sold out online, could it be in stock in store?

Our inventory online/in store is exactly the same. If you are curious if a certain tee or item will be restocked, please reach out and we can give you more information!


Is The Midwest Girl® an original brand?

Yes, The Midwest Girl® is a registered trademark co-founded by sisters Marah Odgers and Marissa Hoffmann. Anything being sold outside of our website and boutique is not our product and an infringement of our copyright.

Midwest Meat and Heartland Honey are also are owned by The Midwest Girl®.
