Shipping Policy

All in-stock items typically ship within 1-3 business days and should arrive within 3 to 5 business days from the ship date. We ship via USPS and UPS.

If the product you have ordered is out of stock or on backorder we will contact you with an estimated ship date of the backordered item. Occasionally issues may arise that lead to an unexpected backorder situation and we will alert you as soon as we are made aware that this issue exists.

Please note The Midwest Girl cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages. Once your package leaves our shop we have no control of the route it takes. We are here to help with any questions regarding tracking or shipping methods.

 

Returns

All unworn/non-sale or final sale (see list below) merchandise can be returned for full refund within 30 days of purchase. Receipt must be present.

All SALES are FINAL on mugs, can coolers, drinkware, bracelets, candles, stickers scrunchies, sale merchandise, & gift cards. NO RETURNS or EXCHANGES on donated or contest merchandise. 

*Any attempt to return an item with deodorant, perfume, make up or any other product stains or scents your return will be denied. Customer will incur shipping costs to have the attempted return sent back to them*

Online Returns

Online returns must be received by The Midwest Girl within 30 days of day of delivery. The link for returns can be found here. Customer is responsible for return shipping. Refunds (less shipping charge) will be processed once received back in store. You will receive an email notification. Please note: If your order qualified for FREE shipping & a return would bring your order total less than the free shipping amount, the original shipping charge may be deducted from your refund.

For online exchanges: At this time we do not offer online exchanges. We can offer exchanges of online orders in store.

Returns cannot be made at The Midwest Girl if item is purchased at one of our retailers. Please see store of purchase for return/exchange policy. 

Promotions/Discounts

The MWG reserves the right to refuse orders that repetitively use one time use discount codes. Welcome codes are a one time use per customer & therefore shall not be used more than once per customer. These orders are subject to be declined at the discretion of The Midwest Girl. 

If you wish to return the lesser expensive item from a Buy One Get One (BOGO) promotion, please note that the item was provided as part of a promotional offer. As such, it holds no standalone value for a refund. However, if both items from the promotion are returned together, we can process a full refund for the paid item, provided it meets our return policy criteria.

Holiday Exchange Policy

Holiday exchange policy is in place October 15th-December 24th. Any purchases made during this time are eligible for an exchange through January 31st with a receipt. Please note that any items that were purchased as FINAL SALE are not eligible for exchange.

 

FAQ

What is sizing like?

Unless noted different, all our tees are unisex. They typically run very true to size. We make notes of the fabric content & fit in all item descriptions.  

What if there is a quality issue past the 30 day return window?

We want your new merchandise to be your “go to”.  Our tee shirts should not arrive with any imperfections, but things can happen! If you are unhappy with a recent purchase, PLEASE reach out to us via email. We would be so much happier to fix a problem rather than you never wanting to purchase another MWG tee!

Please send inquiries & photos of flawed merchandise to orders@shopthemidwestgirl.com. Proof of purchase is required. Merchandise that has been clearly worn may not garner a replacement. 

Do you offer in store pick up?

Absolutely! This is great if a new item is released and you are worried about not making it to the shop before they sell out! If you shop online, you can easily select standard shipping, or Dubuque in store pick up. Your item then will be pulled and prepared for shipment or bagged and ready for pick up during our business hours! You will receive a notification when your order is ready! We also offer curbside pick up during our business hours!

If my size is sold out online, could it be in stock in store?

Our inventory online/in store is exactly the same. If you are curious if a certain tee or item will be restocked, please reach out and we can give you more information! You can also easily sign up for a text or email restock notification next to the item you want! 

Is The Midwest Girl® an original brand?

Yes, The Midwest Girl® is a registered trademark co-founded by sisters Marah Odgers and Marissa Hoffmann. Anything being sold outside of our website, storefront & authorized retailers is not our product and an infringement of our copyright.

 Midwesty® is also trademarked by The Midwest Girl®.
